Excellent High School Band - KCK All-Stars

The Johnson County Advocacy and Awareness Group invited me to photograph their second annual Awareness Rally on this Juneteenth. They had a new, larger location at Thompson Park in Downtown Overland Park, with far better lighting. Best part of the rally - I found a new band! The KCK All-Stars Band and Drumline is pulled together from several high and middle schools in the KCK School District at the beginning of the summer; given two weeks to mesh and practice, then perform! And perform they did - brilliant music, amazing energy and rhythm. I was fortunate to capture some images of the band; be sure to check out the gallery from the event!
